In the News…Make Homeopathy more available

Please take the time to make your opinion count:

“Hello all!

We have some great news for the homeopathic community at large.  Nancy Gahles, DC, CCH, RSHom(NA) and the NCH have been working feverishly to promote homeopathy in Washington, DC.  Key NCH leaders have a meeting scheduled with Dr. Josephine Briggs, MD, president of the National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM), to present research on homeopathy in hopes of inducing her to include homeopathy in future research and in NCCAM’s strategic plan for the future.

Currently, NCCAM Is working on creating their strategic plan for 2010, and is seeking input from many communities, including researchers, health care providers, CAM providers, educators, and the public.  They are in the initial stages, and they want input on the following areas:

*     their mission
*     priority setting
*     information and communication

They have papers covering these topics on their website.  We ask that you read each paper, and leave a comment or two regarding your thoughts on how homeopathy should be included in each.  Please let your voice be heard!  We are requesting that every homeopath, and everyone who wants to have the choice to use homeopathy, let NCCAM know!   It takes a few minutes to read through each paper, but please make the time to read and comment, as we only have until November 19th .

As Molly Punzo, MD from the NCH said, “We really ARE making a difference right now. We are organized, united and have evidence on our side (which will be presented in great depth and detail at the upcoming DC meeting).”
Also, please don’t forget to thank the NCH for their hard work and long hours on behalf of all of us in the homeopathic community.  Your continued NCH membership helps to fund this important work!
